Privacy Policy for ndconst.org and Cite Linker Pro Chrome extension
Effective Date: 1 Aug 2025
The Simple Truth: We Don't Collect Your Information
We built this extension and website with one principle: your privacy matters. We don't want your data, we don't collect your data, and we don't sell your data.
What We Don't Collect
Personal Information: We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal details. Browsing History: We don't track other websites you visit or what content you read. Search Queries: We don't see or store what you search for, except as necessary to perform the core dokuwiki functionality on ndconst.org. Location Data: We don't access or store your location. Device Information: We don't collect information about your computer or browser.
How the Extension Works
The Citation Linker extension:
Reads text only on pages you're actively viewing to find legal citations Processes everything locally on your device - nothing is sent to our servers Stores only your preferences (like auto-scan settings) locally in your browser Never transmits page content or any personal information anywhere
What We Do Store
Extension Settings Only: Your preferences (auto-scan on/off, preferred databases) are saved locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.
Third Parties
We don't share data with anyone because we don't have any data to share. When you click citation links, you go directly to legal databases - but that's between you and them.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and the extension. But honestly, there's not much to change when you collect nothing. Questions? Contact us. We're happy to explain our “collect nothing” approach.
